The Moraine 1000GSM Mattress Topper

A 1000GSM quilted mattress topper. That number is the whole idea: roughly one kilogram of fill in every square metre. On a Queen, that is over 4 kg of loft sitting between you and the mattress you already own.

It is fibre, not foam. The fill is 100% polyester 7D siliconized hollow-fibre, a down alternative with air between the strands, so it breathes rather than trapping heat the way solid foam does. Box-stitch quilting keeps the fill in place instead of letting it drift into the corners over time.

How it fits

A full-perimeter fitted elastic skirt, like a deep fitted sheet, not corner straps. It grips mattresses from 8 to 21 inches deep, so it stays put on pillow-tops, hybrids, and memory-foam beds. Expect around 3 to 4 inches of added height once it reaches full loft.

What it is not

It is not cotton. It is not bamboo. It is not memory foam. We say that up front because you would find out anyway. This is a comfort layer that adds softness and cushioning to the bed you have. It will not make a firm mattress firmer, and it will not fix a mattress that has started to sag.
